The Messengers Guild of Montfort

Being Montfort's best mail service, the Messengers guild members take it upon themselves to relay letters and messages as fast
as can be in, out and around Montfort, going as far as Tynntangial if need be.

The guild's main hall has a very practical design, so that runners, riders and pigeon trainers can get in and out with the desired mail in less than a minute. Some mages are even employed by the guild, as letters are much faster to teleport than to send via a
runner. Gene Roberts, a rather thin young man, is the presently-appointed Guild Master. His attitude is, to say the least, practical (insert "total bore").

Speed and efficiency does not come cheap, however, as a runner can cost up to 50 gold, and magical teleports add a few zeros to that number. The service IS great, after all, as the guild currently has more than three dozen runners, riders, and mages. The carrier pigeons are extremely reliable, and are plentiful (about as much as the human (or other) staff).

The Messengers are also associated with the Stream Riders Guild, which specializes in seaward cargo and shipments.
