The quiet of the alley near the Dragons Inn was once again shattered as the swirling vortex burst into being, lighting up the dark alley and roughly depositing a small cloaked female against the dirty wall. The vortex then pops out of existance as if it had never been. After a moment she rises and dusts herself off. She has softly pointed ears and slightly oriental shaped eyes of vibrant green that seem to glow with an inner fire. She stands about 5ft tall, slight of stature, most closely resembling a wood elf though light of skin. She is wearing a soft brown cloak over a forest green tunic made if intricately woven metal, belted at the waist by a thin silver belt. Her leggings and boots are leather the same brown as her cloak. Two plain matching long-daggers are strapped, one on either side of her tunic. She leans heavily on the wall, hands covering her face. After a long moment she regains her composure and pushes away from the wall, wiping her eyes quickly. She makes sure she is alone, and closes her eyes, mentally searching for her sister. She can feel her presence, but it is a distance away, and very weak. She is more than worried when she gets no response whatsoever from her sending. Suddenly she morphs into a dragon. She is green, shot through with thin streaks of gold and silver. Her wings grow and expand as she takes to the air, watching her size til she clears the buildings. Once high above the town she circles twice, orienting, and then darts off towards the faint presence. Despite the darkness she makes pretty desent time, glowing her eyes to see through the gloom. She had been flying a while when she felt a distinct disruption in the power level ahead. She managed to keep from floundering, and increased her speed towards the source. A few minutes later she was aproaching the area of the disturbance, but kept her distance. The whole area was ablaze, and the flames felt... unnatural. She reoriented and flew towards her sister again. She found the group easily enough, as she had suspected they hadn't gotten far. She circled, trying to spot her sister, but she was not in evidence. There was and extra horse, but that was all. The group paused as she watched and one of them checked on a dwarf that was tied to a horse. Jade decided now was the best time to approach them. She flew down and landed just in front of the group. She morphed back to her elf form, still wearing the tunic, blades and belt, and addressed them. "Where is my sister? I know she's with you..." She could tell that they didn't quite understand her and wondered just what language they spoke. She knew several, but... GD woke when Jawvig came to a stop. She had to move quick to keep from sliding down his back. After a moment, she heard a voice asking something, and realized that the question was being asked in the dialect of her own world. She quickly stuck her head out from under Jawvigs' cloak and focused burry eyes on the person before her. "Jade!" GD said, voice tired but excited. Jade looked towards Jawvig, spotting GDs tiny dragon head peering out. She ran over to her, still eyeing the others in the group suspiciously. She was just about to speak when GD did. "Get on my horse," she let out a little whistle and her horse came forward and nuzzled Jade. This was not exactly the reception Jade was used to as far as horses were concerned. "We have to get going, I'll explain it to you on the way, if I can stay awake that is..." GD pulled her head back into the cloak some as Jade mounted her horse and the group started going again. GD tried to fill Jade in on as much as she could. She kept the conversation mental to speed it up. She briefed her how the local language differed, which Jade easily mastered, and then told her about the group and why they had to get out of here - the dark elves and the plague. Jade just bent over and rested her head on the horses' mane. She muttered morously to no one in particular about how humans should never be allowed to use magic. Then she raised her head and looked at Smith, somewhat resigned, and said "I sure hope you know a way to stop this plague, cause I'm fresh out of trans-world teleportation spells. If you need help, I guess I have no choice but to oblige, though I do dislike using strong spells. I see poor Gold is in no position to help at the moment." then to GD, "Do I even want to know why your so drained you're laying there like a limp rag?" GD didn't answere as she was already drifting back to sleep. Jade said, again to Smith, "Well, she seems all out of personal magic. I do have a deal more of that than she does. I have learned to store it." GD struggled back awake long enough to reach the tip of her tail out and into her stasis pocket. She shifted some things around, and then pulled out the end of the thong attached to a bag of gems (not the same bag as before, but similar). She left the end dangling out and steered her stasis pocket over to Jade. Jade pulled the thong, withdrawing the pouch, and looked into it. *I've got more if you need them* GD mentally whispered, *should be enough there though.* With that she slipped away again, head loosely swaying with the movements of the horse. Jade whistled softly, withdrawing one of the gems. "Now where did she find these?" she mentally measured the amount of power the bag carried and whistled again. "If this doesn't do it, nothing will." "Smith," She said closing the bag and placing the loop over her head, "Do you have a specific spell that will get rid of this plague or are we going to be winging it? Cause if you don't, you're going to have to give me permission to access your knowledge of it. It would be worlds faster than you telling me, and from the sound of it, time is one thing we dont have alot of. You wouldn't have to worry about me prying elsewhere. I would never read and information without the owners express permission." Jade gazed at Smith, eyes glowing softly, waiting for his response.
