Bow, William

William Bow is a trapper, somewhat rough in appearance and
manners, new to Montfort by one year.  He has made his money
during that time by  selling hides and meat in town to the
butcher and tanner and local  families.  He is very direct and
sometimes offensive so he tries to  stay quiet.  He is very
"masculine".  He's also very knowledgable in woodcraft and
tracking, has great weather and direction sense.  He is 5'10",
bulky and corded muscles, wirey red hair and beard, large brown
eyes, and has hands that could strangle a moose.  he has offered
to come along and protect the party on it's adventure to the
King.  He is proficient with a bow, knife, throwing blades, and
spear.

Callounus, Rangi

Rangi Callounus, the weaver, is a single man...homosexual but
discreet.  He is exceptionally talented and rather famous in the
area for his work.  He is an open, friendly man.  He is 5'9",
blond hair, brown eyes, average looks, broad shoulders and fine
boning.  He is about 25.

Matthew:

Matthew is a farmer, 6'1" tall, very lanky but strong, black
hair and brown eyes, thin face, high cheekbones.  He is very
tanned.  He is a good, quiet man, rather a pillar of society
because of his  generous nature.  Last season, a lightning storm
knocked a large  oak down and the tree landed on the home of the
baker, Casse and his family.  Matthew housed the Baker family in
his own home for two weeks, helped them rebuild their home and
fed them from his own larder.  He ofter is the one people turn
to for crop advice and other things.  He is about 30  years old.
His wife died birthing their last child.  He has four, ages 3,
7, 11 and 12.  His eldest, Kalla, acts as the mother to her
brothers and sister.

Roga:

Roga is just a housewife.  She is about 40  years old.  Her
husband, Michael is farmer and a member of the Church as well.
Roga does not "believe" and it has been the cause of many
arguments between the two over the past couple months.  They
rarely speak anymore.  She is 5'5", light brown hair with grey
strands, and dark eyes.  She is rather heavy and has a roundish
face and ruddy complexion.

Thane:

Thane is the son of Gus and Tia Cooper, the barrel makers who
inherited some money and decided to send their son away to
school rather than spend it on themselves.  Thane has just
returned after eight years of study.  He is a good speaker and
has strong convictions concerning right and wrong, as do  his
parents.  His brother Reye, however, joined the cult of  the
Redeemer and his family is very concerned about the boy.  Thane
returned in hopes of helping his family anf found Montfort in
the clutches of the Church.  He is 5'8", age 17, brown hair,
piercing brown eyes and is slight of build.
